About
Turn it up
At 88th Street, we put out records by indie artists with a sound all their own, and build the audio plugins to help you make yours. Same crew. Same ears. Both sides of the glass.
88th Street Records
As a record label for indie artists, we sign bands for the sound, whatever the genre. When a band makes us reach for the volume knob on the first listen, we put their record out for everyone to hear. Every release on 88th Street is a record we’d play on repeat, start to finish.
88th Street Audio
We build audio plugins for musicians, producers, and engineers who want tracks that sound unmistakably theirs. Each one drops straight into your DAW session and works on any track, from vocals and drums to synths and bass.
Both sides of the glass
The band plays on one side of the glass, and the engineer runs the session on the other. Plenty of indie artists now do both. We work both sides too, signing bands to the label and building plugins for the sessions.
